Knight Industrial Shipping and Return Policies

The goal of Knight Industrial Supply is to get the correct material you order to your door as quickly as possible. Here are our policies on how we make that happen.

SHIPPING

When you place your order with us, we will confirm the delivery status shortly after your order is placed. Because we source from hundreds of manufacturers as well as from our own warehouse in Ontario, CA, the shipping point and stock status may vary from order to order. In order to reduce your shipping costs, we will often DROP SHIP from manufacturers or warehouses within our national network. We will advise you of the FOB point in those instances on our order confirmation. All prices quoted are FOB point of origin.
Our parcel carrier of choice is UPS. Normally we will prepay your UPS shipping charges and add them to your invoice or credit card charges. If you require us to ship UPS collect, or via another carrier, please specify that in the message section at the final stage of placing your order and we will try to comply with your request. You will want to include your UPS or other carrier account number in that message. If you specify a carrier that we do not use, we reserve the right to ship your order via a carrier of our choice, and we will advise you prior to shipping of that choice. Freight orders are typically sent freight collect. We can provide FOB Destination pricing upon request. All materials' title and risk of loss are assumed by the buyer at the point of the shipment origin.

WARRANTIES AND LIABILITIES

Our only warranty obligation is to replace any item proved defective in material or workmanship. Any product determined by Knight Industrial Supply, Inc. to be defective in material or workmanship and returned to us or an authorized service location of our designation, shipping costs prepaid, will be, as the exclusive remedy, repaired or replaced, or at our option, the purchase price refunded.
Knight Industrial disclaims any liability for product defect claims that are due to product misuse, improper product selection or misapplication, and any description does not express or imply a warranty that the products are merchantable or fit for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability, any liability for consequential, incidental, special, exemplary, or punitive damages is expressly disclaimed. Our liability in all events is limited to, and shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the product that gives rise to any liability.

CLAIMS AND RETURNS

If a UPS shipment is damaged, please contact us immediately to issue a call tag. A replacement order will be processed immediately and a credit will be issued pending the results of the UPS claim. If you receive a freight shipment damaged, also contact us immediately and do not pay the freight bill unless it has been signed for as damaged. If concealed damage is detected after receipt, advise us immediately and we will pursue any remedy possible.
Our biggest goal is for you to get it right the first time so we urge you to communicate with us exactly what you need and what expectations you may have for a particular product. If necessary, we have engineering resources with every manufacturer to verify if the item you want will be appropriate for your application.
For items received incorrectly, we will accept for credit with no restocking fee at all. For items ordered in error, it is the customer's responsibility to pay for return shipping charges. We do not normally impose any restocking fees, but exceptions may apply.
FOR ANY RETURN, PLEASE CALL, FAX or E-MAIL us for your return authorization. This will speed up the process by which you will receive credit for your return. In some cases, for custom-made items, or made-to-order items, they may be non-cancellable/non-returnable or you may incur a restocking fee if they are returnable. We will strive in every instance to advise you of this status when you place your order for such products. Ultimately, WE GUARANTEE YOUR SATISFACTION, so in every instance, please allow us the opportunity to make it right!
